This beanie ticks all the boxes…it’s simple to knit, it uses , available in Cream or Walnut, and is topped off with a very ‘eco friendly’ ! 

We have also made this beanie in our latest ,  a pure New Zealand Wool available in some fabulous shades. Our shop sample is shown in Pistatio, the softest of glacial greens.

Size: one size: to fit the average size adult head. 

Materials: 2 balls of  or . Simple, honest and sustainable wool, grown and spun in Canterbury, New Zealand.

A pair of 7 mm bamboo needles.

A large possum fur pom pom.

Sewing up needle to join your seam and to attach your pom pom.

Tension: Approximately 14 stitches to 10 cm worked in stocking stitch on 7 mm. needles 

Note:

This beanie is worked with two strands of wool held together. This creates an extra special cozy effect. Do not be alarmed, once you have cast on, the strands automatically ‘stick’ together and can easily be worked as one stitch.
